Horseback Riding Lessons Springfield Missouri
Foremost among the services Libby offers is her riding academy. Professional instruction encourages the newcomers and challenges the advanced riders. Providing instruction to any age at any level is the heart and soul of Libby’s equestrian school. There is an art in being able to effectively communicate riding skills to each student and Libby has proven she has that ability.
Students enter either English or Western courses. Schooling in equitation is a favorite of Libby’s who has led students to many top national awards. To locate the correct mount for each pleasure or competitive rider is another of Libby’s capabilities.
Lessons are an hour in length and include all aspects of riding. Each student takes their horse through the initial grooming and tacking up to cooling down and after-the-ride care. Occasional trail rides bring variety to the usual class setting.
Each entry level student is assigned private lessons until basic skills and control are developed. The option is available to continue in private instruction or to join a group of usually not more than four riders. Lessons are open to riders of any age.
Whether your goal is to achieve basic riding competence or to become proficient in the show ring, Libby is qualified to structure a course for you.
Please call Libby (417-894-8221) to schedule your lesson.
