Arabian Horse Showing in SW Missouri

For those interested in riding in the competitive show ring, Libby will help design a plan that will assist you in meeting personal goals. Local, regional and national levels of  showing are available.

The Arabian breed is the only one that offers a National show for youth only. The Arabian and Half-Arabian Youth Nationals Championship Horse Show is an annual event held in July in Albuquerque, NM. Initiated in 1993, The Youth Nationals is a family event for young riders with a week of competition and activities including leadership training, games, contests, parades and parties. This premier junior rider horse show is one of the largest in the nation.

Each year, Libby and her students travel to many academy, regional and national shows. Together, they have won many championships in the U.S. and Canada.

Student Fun Shows

The Horse Training Center sponsors and hosts local horse shows several times a year in order that students may exhibit their accomplishments to family and friends. Ribbons and trophies are awarded at these shows by professional judges.

Students show their favorite lesson horses in classes especially designed for their level. Lead-line classes, game classes, & championship classes are also offered for all ages & abilities. Other local stables are invited to attend which adds to the interest and competition. Only casual attire is allowed. These events are a wonderful opportunity to build confidence and to gain experience showing.

Academy Shows – $100 per day

Class A Show Fee – $550

Regional Shows & NSHR Finals – $900

Scottsdale – $1,500

Youth & U S Nationals – $2,000

Entry fees, stall, office fees, early arrival & bedding – billed as charged.

Tack & groom stalls, patronships & golf cart rental – divided among horses at show.

Body clipping – $125

Hauling (Prices subject to change with the price of gas)

Local Shows – $65

Out of town shows per mile – $.65
